Getting Started Part 2 – Adding a Location, Embedding RepairStack, and Test Submission

Getting Started

In this tutorial, we cover adding your first location, embedding your plug-in onto a page, and doing a test repair submission.

Adding Your First Location

When it comes to locations, the plug-in has built in logic dependent on how many locations you have. If you have a single location, the plug-in will automatically recognize only 1 location in the back-end, and skip the pick your location step.

To add a location, head over to your locations tab on the left, and add your first location.  It is important to include your title, short description, address, zip code, email, and feature image.  The PHP template needs these to display correctly.

Important:  the email you add to your location is the email that will be notified upon new submissions.  This is especially important if you have multiple locations, where each location as an email that facilitates leads and sales.

By default, the plugin loads with some premade options for you. This includes all the device types, brands, and devices you’ll need to get started. You can always add more brandsdevice typesdevices, and more.

Your base setup is complete! The last step is to create a new page such as “Start Your Quote”, and embed your widget with the repair stack shortcode. You can find that widget code under the “Advanced” settings of the “RepairStack” tab. If you’re running Google Ads, we highly recommend leaving “Repair” out of your main lead generation page URL.
